The reduction of copper represents a great challenge for European viticulture, since it had been EGURALT will allow the application and dissemination of innovative solutions for the promotion of half-height construction with wood in the Sudoe space, contributing to the global challenge of fighting climate change through the promotion of the use of natural materials from sustainable and renewable sources.

The project focuses on three areas: the promotion of high-rise wooden public housing; the development of new technological products in wood and the transformation of the wood sector necessary for the paradigm shift of construction in the Sudoe space.

The main contributions will be:

• KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE between technology centers, public authorities and industry: through tables of actors, study visits ...;

• EXPERIMENTATION OF APPLICATION OF NEW PRODUCTS / PROCESSES and DISSEMINATION, Through workshops with the industry (particularly in SMEs) to improve the implementation of new solutions with greater added value in their portfolio;

• CAPITALIZATION OF KNOWLEDGE through training dedicated to wood specifiers in construction,

• AWARENESS to the population and public authorities AND

• POSITIONING AT THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL through networks.
