Project summary
5 in 1000 kids have hearing loss which has a negative impact on cognitive and social development and generates high health care costs. GHELP provides solutions for detection and treatment of this handicap with personalized treatments based on genetic tests. Like so, GELP is built upon relevant genetic panels for the disease and studies a way to implement them within existing detection’s programmes, boosting knowledge and good practices dissemination in the field.
