ADDISPACE brings more than 150 participants together during the first transfer workshop

Last 17/05/2017, the first ADDISPACE workshop on transfer took place, in the framework of the XII Edition of the Aerospace Valley Technical Forum. In this context, ESTIA (École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées) introduced the project and its first results. Consequently, a first report on the state of play and capacities of the Sudoe officers of the Metallic additive manufacturing – and more specifically, on the potential application to the aerospace sector, will be published soon. Furthermore, a report on the survey launched among enterprises from the aeronautic sector and related to additive manufacturing in which are illustrated the real potential of those technologies, will be disseminated soon.
With € 1.330.838, 02 ERDF budget, ADDISPACE aims at improving the competitiveness of enterprises and SMEs from the Southwestern aerospace sector. For this purpose, ADDISPACE will provide a diffusion and technology transfer platform to research Centre and industries in order enterprises to take up selective fusion and metal deposit by laser, two additive manufacturing technologies which are important for metallic component manufacturing.
