On 31/03/2017, the Second Call for Proposals of the Interreg Sudoe Programme was closed with success. 357 projects entered into competition to get funding from a call of €25 million with 222 proposals in innovation and research fields (axis 1) and 135 concerning environment and resources efficiency (axis 5). Since then, the National Authorities and Joint Secretariat of the Programme carefully assessed every proposal in order to establish a ranking which would identify the proposals authorized to apply to the second phase.

Last 11th July, the making deciders of the process met in Madrid to reach a final decision. Thus, 46 projects were selected to remain in the race and are invited from now to participate to the second phase which will conclude on the 31th October, 2017. At thematic level, this first phase has concluded with the selection of 29 proposals from axis 1 and 17 from axis 5. Please note that the selection during the first phase has been limited according to the ranking, when the FEDER amount available for the specific axis has been reached twice.

Please note that the Joint Secretariat will not bring information by telephone! Every lead partner should wait for receiving a notification letter from the Steering Committee in which there will be information concerning his/her final global punctuation.
