On 1/06/2017, ENSCBP (Bordeaux INP School of Chemistry, Biology and Physics) in cooperation with ICMCB (CNRS, Bordeaux Institute for Condensed Materials Chemistry) and South-West Section SF2M (French Society for Metallurgy and Material Sciences) organized a seminar on metallic additive manufacturing and advances materials in the framework of SAMT SUDOE project.

During the event, which brought around fifty people together, the CEIV partner's representative Mr. Fernandez de Mera, introduced the project. Then, several interventions on additive manufacturing, SLM technology and technical data management followed. In another hand, PHD students from Southwestern schools had the opportunity to present their thesis works related to metallic additive manufacturing. This meeting enabled exchanges between researchers, industrials and students in view at future joint projects.

With € 746.120,28 ERDF budget, SAMT SUDOE promotes additive manufacturing through the development of an international cooperative platform.
