Last 31/03, Leartiker Technological Centre (Bizcaya, Spain) hosted a seminar on technologies for materials attenuation, which counted on a presentation about AEROCAR. Mr. José Javier Egurrola, Director for polymer technologies, chaired the meeting: he introduced the project and its objectives, highlighting that it is currently in the research phase.

AEROCAR aims at creating a technological transfer network within the aerospace and automation sectors and like so, improving the above-mentioned sectors production through the implementation and exchanges on new technologies, materials and procedures. The project was approved in the first call for proposals of the programme, under the priority axis nº1, with a FEDER budget of 944.910,27 €, AEROCAR. With partners from France, Portugal and Spain, it aims at boosting innovation within key sectors for the Sudoe area territorial development and revitalization, due among other things their high rates of employment.
