The Smart Agrifood Summit 2022, considered the largest event on digitalisation and innovation in agri-food in Europe, which will take place on Málaga, September 29 and 30, and will be attended by the NOVExport project partners. The project is co-financed by the Interreg Sudoe programme and during these two days, the partners involved in the project will have the opportunitiy of participating in networking sessions, round tables and will set up booths to publicise the project in more detail to all the attendants.

NOVExport project

With a budget of EUR 1.5 million the project, that has been approved thanks to the third call for proposals, has reached the end of its implementation. NOVExport is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in digital technologies, as well as promoting their internationalisation towards the agricultural, environmental and maritime markets in Latin America (LATAM).

For this, the partners of the project have implemented various tools in order to facilitate the access to more profitable markets in Latin America and promote European quality services and products through HUBS, virtual platforms and other tools for technological innovation and internationalisation.

On the other hand, the Carlos III University of Madrid – an institution that also joins the project-, and through the Entrepreneurship and Business Development area of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support Service, offers services to improve the internationalisation of technological companies in Latin America, and thus improve the competitiveness of SMEs in the space and digital technology sectors while working on the internationalisation in Latin American markets.

Participation in Smart Agrifood Summit 2022

NOVExport will be present at the Agrifood Summit for a couple of days, a time that will be used to hold networking sessions between startups, partners and attendees at the event. In addition, the following activities will take place under the NOVExport brand:

- The installation of a stand to publicise the project in detail.

- Within the framework of the Side Event, the companies ACTION TRACKER; ACTIVA PROYECTOS TECH, UTW, GREENFIELD and POLAR DEVELOPMENTS, members of NOVExport project, will participate in the round table "Experiences and Strategies of Internationalisation in LATAM". 

- The companies ACTION TRACKER, UTW and SANZAR will also participate in the activity called Elevator Pitch, a session aimed at publicising the project among those attending the event.
