Interreg Sudoe Programme: 3rd Call event between two stages

Last 12 and 13th February, our programme organised a seminar addressed to the candidates authorized to apply to the second stage. The event brought 140 people from both public and private Sudoe area‘ s entities together with the aim at bringing complementary information on the call and recommendations to prepare their application to the second stage.

Introduction of PEMFC-SUDOE at Chempor 2018

O Porto University participated to 13th International Chemical and Biological Engineering Conference – Chempor that was held in Aveiro (Portugal) in Autumn 2018. Rui Ferreira Rui Ferreira, introduced the work “Numerical simultanions of the mem-brane chemical degration in a PEM fuel cell” developped under the framework of PEMFC-SUDOE project.

Heritage Care Seminar on preventive conservation

Last 8/02, the University of Minho and the Regional Directorate of Northern Culture - partners of the HeritageCare project - hosted a seminar on preventive conservation of built cultural heritage focusing on new tools for assessment and management developed within the project. The event which took place in the Casa das Artes in Porto (Portugal) counts on the participation of about 80 people.

Mainly addressed to owners and managers of built heritage, public and private, the seminar highlighted the long-term benefits associated with regular preventive conservation action. It also consolidated a multidisciplinary platform for exchange of information and perspectives among academics, professionals and owners.
