This year is coming to an end and now, it’s time to see what happened at Sudoe, month by month.

During 2018, we deeply reflected on our capitalisation strategy which started with interviews to current and past beneficiaries of the programme as well as key stakeholders. Those interviews were led by our first IVY volunteer, Claudia, who left us in March to start new adventures at the Joint Secretariat of Interreg Maritimo France-Italy. Furthermore, we organised a joint webinar with Interreg POCTEFA crossboarders Programme on the IVY volunteering initiative, addressed to youngsters and projects from both programmes.

In April, we approved 21 new projects in the framework of the Second Call for Proposals who had the opportunity to meet in Santander, to sign their ERDF agreement and start working on their management.

June has been full of activities: we celebrated our capitalisation event in Brussels with the participation of high level political and institutional representatives. Moreover, we welcomed our new IVY volunteer, Oriane, who stayed with us until the end of November. We organised a summercamp on lobbying and communication for our approved projects, in Faro, with our colleagues from Interreg MED Programme. In the meantime, ClimACT has been nominated to the Regiostars 2018 and the Interact Slam which was held in Brussels, in October. 

During the Second Semester of 2018, we organised several promotional activities such as at the European Week of the Regions and Cities in Brussels, where, together with other transnational Interreg Programmes, we organised an exhibition on territorial cooperation and a workshop on the transnational cooperation’s future. In September, we launched our third Call for Proposals on axis 2, 3 and 4. We also participated to the capitalisation’s activities of the CGET (France) and launched a preliminar analytical work to capitalise our projects in 2019.
