Nanostar starts its meetings with students in Spain

Last 28th September, the Nanostar network “collaborative platform to support financing and development of nano-satelites through Students Challenges” was introduced at Leganes Campus from Carlos III University of Madrid.
The presentation counted on the participation of prof. Mario Merino, the researchers Filippo Cichocki and Gonzalez Sanchez Arriaga from the Aerospatial Engineering Department, the researcher Julio Posada and Prof. Jose A Garcia Souto from the Electronic Technology Department – all of them from Carlos III University in Madrid. They were accompanied by prof. Anthony Ghiotto from the Polytechnic Institute of Bordeaux and Eugenio Fontán, Director of the Aerospatial Cluster based in Madrid.
The objective of Nanostar is to provide students with experiences related to a complete spacial engineering process which includes all the steps: from conception to design, integration, proofs and documents. In few words, all the process through a network which combines high level engineering degrees and nano-satelites entrepreurship methods.
