This year, the European Week of Regions and Cities will take place from 8 to 11th October in Brussels. Participants will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition on Interreg Transnational Programmes, #MadeWithInterreg, to reflect on the future of the European cooperation in our ideaslab and to support CliMact Sudoe Project at the RegioStars and the Interact slam.

Every year, the European Committee of the Regions in cooperation with DG Regio (European Commission) organises the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek), a four days event where EU cities and regions show their contribution to the Europen cohesion and territorial development practitioners can share their ideas and reflect on European subsidiarity. Likewise, next 8,9,10 and 11th October, Brussels will welcome around 6.000 visitors from all Europe who will have the opportunity to attend to more than 100 workshops on regional policy, innovation, heritage, etc.; crucial ítems for the European building. And Interreg Sudoe will not miss this appointment!

In the framework of this event, you will have the opportunity to discover the Interreg transnational programmes through a joint exhibition #MadeWithInterreg, a showcas whose objective is to show the impact of European cooperation through projects financed by transnational programmes. A great and unique momentum during which you will talk with projects managers, discover videos, participate to funny games: indeed, to be inmersed in the European building (follow #MadeWithInterreg en twitter, Facebook y Linkedin). Moroever, transnational Interreg programmes will organise a joint ideaslab on transnational cooperation in worldcafe format which will be held on 10th October from 16.30 to 18.00. Together with experts and decisión makers, we will discuss the future of cooperation and its format. We are looking forward to sharing with you!

In another hand, the RegioStars ceremony will take place on 9th October evening, With ClimACT as finalist. And that’s not all! ClimACT will also compete in the slam organised by Interact. With 5 other projects, ClimACT will have to convince the jury and the virtual community regarding the relevance of the Project through a performance. But at this stage, we can’t say more! But you will have the opportunity to discover it in live on 10th Octobre, from 14.30. Again, we need you as its selection will depend on the public vote: you are invited to watch the slam and vote for a Project which based on youngsters awareness aims at improving our future!
