Last 7^th February, the Interreg Sudoe programme published the projects approved in the frameword of the second call for proposals. Since then, kick-offs of approved projects have started to take place, as for the project COMPRESSer which gathered at the University of Salamanca (ES) mid-May to set off the partnerships with the Institut Polytechnique de Bordeaux (FR) and the University of Aveiro (PT). The project COMPRESSer aims at supporting the development of a sustainable plastic industry.

Besides, the SUDOANG project, which works toward a transnational strategy of eels protection, organised its kick-off meeting as well from 30^th May to 1^st June in Lisbon.

Lastly, the project Sudoe Twist has also officially launched its activities in Seville at the end of May. The project aims at creating an innovation model in water management field. It goes after circular economy and the compliance with the Water Framework Directive.
