Last 22 and 23 March, ENERPAT organised its first international symposium on eco-rehabilitation for old buildings. The event took place at la Casa do Infante, cultural heritage of O Porto (PT).

On the first day, F.Paulo, Member of the Municipal Chamber of O Porto and M. Simon, Vice-President of Grand Cahors Community, were responsible for welcoming all the participant before the first tematic round table on sustainable rehabilitation of old heritage. At the end of the session, there were some visits on the ground, to the historic town of O Porto. Participants had the opportunity to discover two pilot projects undergoing renewal.

The second day started with the presentation of the Project and the methodology used by each partner. After that, there was a roundtable on the links between sustainable rehabilitation and territory reinvigoration, moderated by political figures from Cahors, Vitoria-Gasteiz and O Porto.

Next symposium will take place in Vitoria-Gasteiz in November.
