Do you remember the NANOSTAR project? A project that allows young college students participating in a real space engineering process by creating, no more no less, than a nano-satellite?

In March, the project launched its famous “Student Challenges”: multidisciplinary students teams had to pre-design a nano-satellite to be sent to a space mission to the Moon. The latter will have the mission to provide observations and measures from the Moon surface.

The first stage of this contest concluded successfully on the 11th April with the participation of 103 students distributed in 17 teams. The selected students must now to present a design of their solution with a report before a jury conformed by the project institutions. The winning design will serve as a model for the nano-satellite that will be built in the project’s framework.
